As-Built BIM
As-built BIM Model shows what is existed or actually constructed. We use Faro 3D Scanner to scan the existing facility. The point cloud generated will then be converted into BIM model.
Why need As-Built BIM
Building owners are interested in as-built BIM for lease area audits, facility management activities, and asset tracking. Architects and engineers need as-built BIM to understand existing conditions and utilities prior to renovation or retrofit. Fabricators and installers require precise as-built data so that they can fabricate to spec off-site and to identify spatial constraints (clash detection) in advance of installation.
